If She Brings the Backon Home Will You Cook ?

Interesting how empowerment of women in Kenya is met with a lot of skepticism, personally I don't have a problem with women empowerment...but most Kenyan men grapple with fear that their  wives would ruin the marriage if they are economically empowered. I read this interesting article from the
standard about women empowerment that you should read :

Thanks to the one-third-gender rule, women have increasingly become empowered, be it financially or socially. The soaring number of female CEOs, an influx of pink Vitzes on the roads, and female political leaders say it all. It is a state of affairs that their mothers and grandmothers only dreamt of. Disappointingly, as most women become upwardly mobile, pride and arrogance start creeping in, and they begin to think they are God’s gift to mankind — fellow female sods included! These are the women who, without cause and provocation, throw their weights around, telling anyone who cares to listen that men are ‘useless’. If you think I am unfairly accusing them, just ask any woman in any office and she will tell you — for free — that virtually all female bosses are bad news, especially to fellow women.
Men, too, hardly date or marry such types because they find then stand-offish and turn offs because however pretty they may be, most of them generally have a bad attitude towards men.

“I can pay my own rent and buy my own car, and if I want a baby, I can go to a sperm bank,” I overheard one of these women recently shriek.

Her dead-fish-like eyes would have made any man take cover! If anything, that sperm they buy is from a man, anyway. And interestingly, some of the sperm donors are less educated, crooks and the very men such women look down upon.

Look, if you have a better job than your man, humble yourself, remain a wife and put a smile on his face by paying the bills. Making him feel ‘useless’ is counter productive. Stop being a CEO at home. That attitude ruins marriages.
