Article of the Week: The Great Deception That Is Romantic ‘Love’

By on 01:13

I came across this interesting article and would like to share it here with my readers, I hope you find it interesting and join this debate :

Whenever any of my buddies tells me he’s fallen in ‘love’, I always burst out laughing and take a deep gulp of my Tusker.

Romantic love is nothing more than western creation meant to fuel consumerism, individualism and otherwise deludes people into thinking that a person can love the other unconditionally.

If pure love exists, why doesn’t Njeri the CEO of XYZ ltd fall in love and MARRY Kamau, the mkokoteni dude?

Love is simply a way of
trapping two people to ensure they reproduce and sustain the human species.

If you want to get married, stop this bullshit about falling in love; just get a person you can cope with, agree to stay together, get children, rear them and then wait to die. This nonsense about MR right and Mrs Right is just delusions planted by western media to colonize the rest of the world.

In the past, parents used to get wives for their sons and they would live harmoniously.
How can someone say: each person has his/her special angel somewhere?

If you live in Nairobi, most likely you will marry a Nairobian. Similarly if you were in Lagos, you would get a husband/wife there. There is no special person for every person. It depends on where you are staying. Otherwise you have 1 million special someone depending on where you live and your station in life.

The soulmate banter is irritating nonsense. No one can be the solemate of another person.
The so hyped companionship in marriage is gimcrackery; no husband has ever been 60% honest with his wife, leave alone 100% honesty. The most honest wife is only about 30% honest with her husband.

If you are a dude and you want to marry, just get a natural girl out there, get her pregnant rear kids, continue watching soccer, enjoy your tusker, educate the kids…….i tell you there is nothing else in life.

Forget the rubbish about candle lit dinners and flowers……..its buffoonery imported by the white man.
