Sauti Sol is a renowned music band in Kenya that rose to its fame mainly due to its band members.Apparently, they saw it cool for it to have only male members, despite Kenya having a population of more females than males.
This factor is unknown to many Kenyans. “You can be easily deceived” said one of the former band fans. “You would think that it’s a band of men, singing about relationship issues with women, only to find out that its about their fellow men. You just have to be more keen to notice that.”

Sauti sol’s success was an overnight success, just like any other gay activities anywhere in the world. Kenya is not a place where you can wake up one morning and become renowned musician. What surprises many is the fact that they have been able to somehow maintain their success.
