Kenyan dating scene is awash with countless women who have a receding hairline still praying for the perfect man to come their way albeit many guys who are in the next pub cheering their favorite English Premier League Team.
Don’t be quick to call me names, before I clarify that that the notion that a good man can only be found in a church environment is by far too idealistic.
Contrary to
what many women in Kenya believe, most of the good men will not be found
anywhere near a Church. Again it also depends on one’s definition of what is ‘good’. If you are looking for a good husband stop
restricting yourself to the church environment only!
By my own
estimation it would be irrational for any young lady to limit her chances of getting
a good husband by only looking for one who sings in the church choir. By nature
or Kenyan cultural or social setting there are fewer men who attend church compared
women especially those between the aged of 20- 30. If I was to offer free advice to Kenyan women
looking for husbands in church my advice would be in 10 tips:
1.
Stop judging men based on whether they attend
church or not
2.
Start appreciating other forms of leisure activities
such as sports, culture and fun events (attend as many as possible and build a
network of friends)
3.
Drop your low opinion on people who booze
4.
Stop dreaming about Mr. Right and begin
appreciating the flowers blooming in your immediate life.
5.
Cut down on the amount of Soap Operas you are
taking into your system and invest that time on personality development
6.
Please
lose weight if you can, or stay healthy as age progresses.
7.
Talk to your workmates (esp. male) in a friendly
and respectful way avoid being a snob( attend parties when invited but let the
guest know your stand)
8.
When you
meet a good guy, take the lead and make some less obvious suggestions
9.
Avoid thinking too much about Samantha bridal and
other wedding shows (this will make you more desperate and jealous)
