Do you believe Conspiracy Theory about Origin of HIV ?

HIV/AIDS is certainly one of the most deadly diseases that are thought to have been invented as a biological weapon in the US laboratories. The theory purports that the US foreign policy was concern in controlling the population of black people and homosexuals.

Whether this theory is true or not , there are some shocking facts about this theory that have formed the basis of serious debate on whether or not HIV was intended to be a biological weapon directed towards black people.

In this post I would like to explain the conspiracy theory of history of HIV and let you be the judge on whether this theory stands the test of truth.

The Conspiracy Theory about the Origin of HIV /AIDS

    Manufacture of HIV in US Labs

Although the Scientists round the world have reached a consensus about the origin of AIDs to be in Africa in the early 1930’s, the conspiracy theory sharply
differs with this consensus. According to conspiracy theory HIV is manmade and is thought to have been manufactured in the military laboratories in the US as a biological warfare program.

This program was intended to eliminate the black people and homosexuals. It is alleges that this program was initiated by Special Cancer Virus Program together with CIA. Considering CIA has previously been accused of serious crimes linked to biological manipulation and inflicting pain and suffering in their purported enemies in the early years, it is somewhat justifiable to believe they too had a role in manufacture of HIV as a Biological Weaponry.

·         Spread of HIV from US labs to other Parts of the World

The theory further proposes that the spread of HIV was deliberately done to thousands of people round the world via a small pox and hepatitis B vaccination programmes. This theory is arguable but it weakness is that it does not associate HIV and SIV as scientific theory on the origin of HIV does.

Wangari Maathai comment about this Theory

Whether you choose to believe this theory or not, HIV is a deadly disease that has killed millions of people. When Wangari Maathai was asked if she believed this conspiracy theory about the origin of HIV, she replied:

"I have no idea who created AIDS and whether it is a biological agent or not. But I do know things like that don't come from the moon. (...) I guess there is some truth that must not be too exposed." Maathai subsequently issued a written statement in December 2004: "I neither say nor believe that the virus was developed by white people or white powers in order to destroy the African people. Such views are wicked and destructive”

Do you Believe HIV is a Biological Weapon? 

No matter whom you are where you live or your HIV status, whenever you think about HIV there is a reason to get worried. Suppose you were told the whole truth about how US secret agency and rogue researchers invented HIV in the Lab, would you choose to believe this theory or not ?

 If HIV was a biological weapon by the US directed towards Africans and Asia. If this was a biological weapon directed towards Africans, it leaves no doubt on Whether it has played it role perfectly in eliminating black people….

Personally I remain skeptical about this conspiracy theory but it is a serious basis of argument..I choose to take a similar stand with Wangari Maathai about this theory. What is your thought about this?
