Nothing beats a man’s ego than

how gullible young men can become.

We have all seen these herbalists
who proclaim they sell ancient herbs that will make you do this or that….I
always pass by such people and rarely give them audience.
For this particular herbalist I was curiously attracted by his ability to choose and use the right words, the most interesting fact being his funny stories.

These herbalists are very popular
in Nakuru and operate in a site that is littered by all kinds of paraphernalia.
Their main objective is to make a sale no matter what! In a good day they make killer sales and walk
away with pure profits.
Their business ideology capitalize on the purported inadequacies of modern medicine to prove to audience their traditional pill works ! These are the kind of men I often say are cut from a different kind of cloth. They have guts to sell ice to Eskimos without blinking or they take advantage of the naivety seen in their audience.

I did not want to know so much
about the way they operate their business but I understand they can even make
some pretence sales to make people believe this things sell….
The reason I had stopped to listen to this herbalist was his alluring tongue as witnessed by occasional burst of laughter by the huge crowd, surrounding this stout, middle aged man.

A brief introduction was about
how young men of the 21 st Century were failing seriously in bed! YES FAILING
IN BED! The self proclaimed macho man
oozing a sense of utmost masculinity from every word coming from his mouth, said
we (men of our days) are a pale shadow of our fore fathers in bed matters. His
revelations though obscenely untrue were shocking !
He argued that a man of those days would have 12 wives and manage to visit each one of them in a single night. This was not only ridiculous but very untrue as judged by the modern science. We leave that debate for another day lets concentrate on the story NOW!

The crowd burst in laughter as the herbalist continued with his story on and on ….the most shocking fact was by
the time I was leaving, people were buying his concoctions.
I could not help but wonder how gullible young men of my age have become!

learnt from the Story
The incredible ingenuity and
creativity in the story surely portrays a well thought analogy that makes these people feel
the need to buy this product.
It’s surprising that such talents are thriving in a society that I have seen is full of mediocre copy cats who are very good at copying an original idea to dilute its originality.
I think we should be creative, innovative and industrious for us to achieve the far fetched DREAM 2030
